The South-West is the most popular domestic destination


The Central Statistics Office today published "Domestic Tourism in Ireland 2000-2005". This publication examines the results over 6 years for Irish residents and their trips within Ireland. The report presents a detailed picture of the structure, activity, and trends in the domestic tourism market in the first years of the millennium.

  • Business trips are the fastest growing sector
  • Over 60s are the fastest growing market
